What’s happening
A contractor working on behalf of Highways England will be carrying out essential maintenance to Town Bridge, Peterborough (TL19277 98169 - adjacent to the floating restaurant).
The work will consist of render repairs and repainting of bridge elevations and parapets overhead.
During this time the navigation will be reduced in size and passing vessels will be directed by buoyage, signage and booms into safe water.
Please be aware that vessels approaching from upstream will have priority at all times.
Emergency tugs will be in attendance during the works and boaters are to comply with any instructions given by the crew.
