Details
Since the Tourism Action Plan was published, the industry has continued to perform excellently. From January to July 2017, there were 23.1 million visits to the UK by overseas residents, an increase of 8% compared to January to July 2016. Spending over the same period increased by 9%, from £12.2 billon to £13.3 billion.
