Mr Tomlinson left his role at the Home Office in July 2024 and at the Attorney General’s Office in December 2023.

Mr Tomlinson sought the Committee’s advice about taking up a role with Poole Harbour Commissioners.  The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in November 2024; and the appointment was taken up later that month.
