Details of the application

Tip Toe Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Till catchment.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:

  • at an instantaneous rate of 14 litres per second
  • 50 cubic metres an hour
  • 640 cubic metres a day
  • 8,202 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 June and 31 July inclusive in each year
  • at National Grid Reference (NGR) NT 90846 41808
  • from abstraction location Tip Toe Farm.

The water will be used for Spray irrigation - Direct.
