Details of the application

Tingdene Parks Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from a borehole at Crook Farm Caravan Park, Glen Road, Baildon at National Grid Reference SE 13726 39433.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 5 cubic metres an hour
  • 120 cubic metres a day
  • 41,000 cubic metres a year

Between 1 January and 31 December in each year.

The water will be used for supplying a caravan park.

Further details are: The proposed abstraction lies in the Aire and Calder Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy reporting area.
