Thomas Benjamin Cabbell Manners trading as Cromer Hall Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/034/0005/005/R02 which authorises the abstraction of water from North Norfolk Chalk groundwater body from a borehole at National Grid Reference TG 21420 41220 at Cromer Hall Farm, Cromer, Norfolk.

The variation applied for is: To add trickle irrigation as a purpose with the following quantities:

  • 2 cubic metres an hour
  • 29 cubic metres a day
  • 617 cubic metres a year

The quantities for Spray Irrigation will remain as:

  • 53 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,071 cubic metres a day
  • 49,383 cubic metres a year
