The statement sets outs the Commissioner’s position on the recent High Court judgment on the use of Automatic Facial Recognition technology by South Wales police.
It sets out that he will update his guidance on the police use of Automatic Facial Recognition technology and that he will continue to work with the police and others to ensure that the guidance for the public, and indeed the police, is both up to date and relevant.
