The British Embassy Luxembourg, in collaboration with Deloitte Luxembourg, conducted a study about sustainable finance in Luxembourg and the UK. The financial hubs in both countries are well-positioned to be active change-makers for a more sustainable future.

The study looks at the 2 countries’ respective sustainable finance sectors, analyses the state of the industry and identifies important actors, trends and challenges. It also provides an overview of the current regulatory framework and forecasts some of the expected legislative changes.

This study aims to support further cooperation between Luxembourg and UK stakeholders through:

  • promoting bilateral partnerships
  • developing of common projects
  • supporting business-to-business exchanges and public sector dialogues
  • fostering academic cooperation
