In December 2025, Philip Rycroft was commissioned to undertake an independent review into foreign financial influence and interference in UK politics which was published on 25 March 2026. This publication sets out the government’s full response to all 17 recommendations made in Mr Rycroft’s review and how they are to be taken forward.
