The Royal National Lifeboat Institution has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full abstraction licence to abstract water from the River Thames at National Grid Reference (NGR) TQ 30740 80673.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 8 cubic metres an hour
- 124 cubic metres a day
- 45,260 cubic metres a year
- All year.
The water will be used for an open water heat pump system. All water abstracted will be returned to the river Thames at NGR TQ 30740 80673.
