This report presents the findings of 5 projects that were part of the Better Communication research programme.

The report includes:

  • children and young people’s perspectives
  • parents’ perspectives
  • a survey of parents’ views on outcomes
  • a systematic review of quality-of-life measures for children

The findings look at the implications for:

  • health and education practitioners
  • policy development

The Better Communication research programme was part of a review of services for children and young people with SLCN.
