The National Parks Accord
Building Digital UK (BDUK) has partnered with National Parks England, Openreach and Trenches Law to agree a joint accord to create a standardised approach to the timely delivery of gigabit broadband within the 10 English National Parks.

Details
The National Parks Accord clarifies planning requirements and notifications for broadband operators rolling out gigabit capable broadband in English National Parks. The Accord promotes early engagement between National Parks Authorities and broadband service operators to ensure that build plans are received and considered in a timely manner and that broadband rollout within protected landscapes occurs in a considerate manner.
The Accord will be housed on the BDUK website and will be promoted to all suppliers undertaking BDUK Contracts and all other suppliers who may be undertaking commercial build within National Parks.
