In 2022, a representative sample of 1,408 businesses were interviewed initially, and 30 follow-up interviews examined issues in more depth.
The survey looked at:
- the experiences of Mid-sized businesses in dealing with HMRC
- perceptions of current tax administration
- attitudes towards tax compliance
