This report is based on research asking 1,857 childcare providers:
- if their businesses were affected by rising cost pressures
- if they were having difficulties recruiting enough staff to meet demand
It also asked the 774 childminders among the respondents:
- their views on registering with childminder agencies
- their views on working from non-domestic premises
The research was carried out in November 2022.
