Lord Carlile of Berriew QC published his report ‘Sixth report of the Independent Reviewer pursuant to section 14(3) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005’ on 3 February 2011 and included a number of recommendations. The government has considered the recommendations carefully and this paper sets out the government’s response.
