Details

From September 2009, changes were introduced to GCSEs in all subjects except English, mathematics, ICT and the sciences. Changes to GCSE English, mathematics and ICT were introduced in September 2010.

This report follows 3 rounds of fieldwork with case-study centres and wider stakeholder groups designed to assess their understanding and perceptions of the changes and their attitudes towards them. It reports on early indications of the effects of the changes and the issues that have arisen.
