The Dove Trust: Charity Commission decision
Published 16 December 2013
Applies to England and Wales
The Commission was asked to review its decisions to:
- Vary the terms of the Interim Manager’s appointment to give him the powers and duties of the trustees to the exclusion of the current trustees of the Charity;
- Make orders preventing four banks from parting with any property held on behalf of the Charity without the consent of the Commission.
The reviewers considered that both decisions were lawful, proportionate and reasonable and should remain in place.
