The Canyons Marine Conservation Zone (Specified Area) Prohibited Fishing Gears Byelaw 2022
The Canyons MCZ is located in the far south-west corner of the UK continental shelf.

Details
The byelaw was made by the Marine Management Organisation on 8 April 2022 and will come into force on 13 June 2022.
The purpose of the byelaw is to protect the Canyons MCZ from the impacts of bottom towed fishing gear and anchored nets and lines.
