Details

The meeting was chaired by the Rt Hon Lord Howard of Lympne, former UK co-chairman, and the Hon Seiji Kihara, acting Japanese co-chairman. The current UK co-chairman for the group is the Rt Hon Lord Lansley CBE.

The 18 British and 16 Japanese participants included parliamentarians and senior representatives from business, the media, academia, think tanks and the diplomatic service from both countries.
