Terminating the Anti-Dumping Duty on imports of biodiesel, originating in Argentina and Indonesia

In Implementing regulation No.(EU) 2018/1570, OJ ref L262, the Commission announced the termination of anti-dumping on biodiesel, originating in Argentina and Indonesia.

The regulation took effect from 20 October 2018.

Anti-Dumping Duty incurred on imports of biodiesel produced by the following companies can be reclaimed.

Repayment of Anti-Dumping Duty is subject to the three year rule.

Anti-Dumping Duty on imports from the following producers and any other Argentinian or Indonesian companies cannot be reclaimed:

Please note there is an anti-subsidy investigation currently in progress concerning Biodiesel originating in Argentina.

Traders (including CFSP) who are entitled to repayments of Anti-Dumping Duty are now required to submit claims to the National Duty Repayment Centre (NDRC) using form Apply for repayment or remission of import duties (C285) in order to process the refund:

Claims must include a copy of the original import declaration and commercial documents such as invoices and transport documents. Where traders have claimed a company specific rate of duty, they must provide documentation to support this claim.
