Details

A request for information was made about the cost of producing a temporary average speed camera gantry including the base, the gantry and the cameras. In response, the Highways Agency disclosed that each installation is bespoke and the cost of establishing, maintaining and removing that installation is determined by various factors. The Highways Agency provided details of those factors and the cost of installing and maintaining a temporary CCTV system for the monitoring of traffic at the current road works on the M54 Junction 3 to 5 Westbound resurfacing scheme.
