Report on the current animal fat (tallow) market to assessing the impact from allowing double counting of biodiesel produced from category 1 tallow as well as the:

  • issues
  • risks
  • available data

The research enabled us to set out an approach to monitoring these impacts by creating, through consultation, the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation suppliers’ guidance.

The report is made by Ecofys on behalf of the Department for Transport.
