The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 from NNB Generation Company (HPC) Limited.

The proposal is to vary the permit to reduce the volume of groundwater discharged to the estuary, to discharge the groundwater without treatment, and amend the national grid references for two discharge points so that they accurately reflect the site plan in the permit.
