Details

The Sustainable Clothing Action Plan (updated Feb 2010) sets out agreed stakeholder actions from the clothing/fashion industry and support organisations to improve the sustainability of clothing in the following priority areas:

  1. Improving Environmental Performance across the supply chain
  2. Consumption trends and behaviour
  3. Awareness, media, education & networks 
  4. Creating market drivers
  5. Traceability across the supply chain (ethics, trade & environment)

The Sustainable Clothing Roadmap aims to improve the environmental and social performance of clothing, building on existing initiatives and by co-ordinating action by key clothing supply chain stakeholders.
