As a fishing vessel owner you’re responsible for making sure you keep relevant and verifiable records of all hull and equipment inspections.

The survey standards spreadsheet is designed for you to record vital safety information on hull and machinery equipment for each vessel.

The guidance explains how to enter the data in the spreadsheet.

This is an electronic recording system to help you produce an annual account for your vessel(s) to show that maintenance, inspection and surveys have been carried out. It’s not a substitute for any other records that must be kept.
