Guide 3 for intended parent(s): return to the UK

Details

Cambridge Family Law, working with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), produced this guidance for people considering international surrogacy. Some of the information has been simplified so that it is easier to understand. It does not address the specific requirements of individual surrogacy arrangements.

If you are considering surrogacy in a foreign country, the FCDO strongly advises you to get specialist independent legal advice in the UK and in the other country before making any arrangements. For general information on overseas surrogacy, view our surrogacy overseas guidance.
