This page compiles research completed in 2023 carried out by Ipsos to assess the impact of the Superfast Programme. The evaluation aims to provide evidence to answer the seven key State Aid evaluation questions with a particular focus on contracts awarded between 2016 and 2020 as part of Phase 3 of the Superfast Programme.
The three appendices provide more detail on the analysis conducted. These appendices are based on the programme’s impact on reducing the digital divide, the internal rates of return of the programme, and the economic and social impacts of the programme. This work builds on reports published in 2018 and 2021.
