Summerleaze Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.

The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Colne catchment.

The application is for a licence to abstract (take) water from a sand and gravel lagoon at Denham Quarry, New Denham, Buckinghamshire between National Grid References TQ 04372 85616, TQ 04586 85411, TQ 04355 84917 and TQ 03878 85025 to transfer it to a lake at National Grid Reference TQ 04290 84651 at Denham Quarry without intervening use.

Abstractions will take place between 1 September and 30 June each year.
