Details

This letter provides an update on the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan (SSEP) being developed by NESO. It explains why updated cost and demand data are being incorporated into the modelling process to ensure accuracy and transparency.

As a result, the timeline for completing the SSEP has been extended. The purpose of this update is to maintain the quality and credibility of the plan while aligning with the latest available information.

The formal deadline to submit the SSEP has now been extended to 31 December 2027 and this has been confirmed with a letter to NESO.
