The Committees on Arms Export Controls (CAEC) second joint report of session 2014 to 2015 (known as the CAEC’s annual report 2015) was published on 20 March 2015 (HC 608) and addressed:
- the scrutiny of the government’s UK Strategic Export Controls annual report 2013 (published in July 2014)
- the government’s quarterly reports from October 2013 to June 2014
- the government’s policies on arms exports and international arms control issues
The report contained 145 conclusions and recommendations.
The consolidated government response is a joint document drafted by BIS, DfID, FCO and MOD, with contributions from HMRC. The FCO laid the response before Parliament as a Command Paper on behalf of the government on 31 July 2015.
