Details of the application

Steve Tysoe has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from River Thames at National Grid Reference (NGR) SU 78073 79660 near Wargrave, Berkshire. Water will be returned after use to the River Thames at National NGR SU 78061 79662, near Wargrave, Berkshire.

The application is to abstract water for the purpose of water source heating and cooling as follows:

  • 27 cubic metres an hour
  • 486 cubic metres a day
  • 177,390 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
