The Statement of Financial Entitlements (Specification of National Minimum Percentage Uplift and Amendment (No.2)) Directions 2010 were signed on 23 June 2010 and are for the most part effective from 1 April 2010. The primary purpose of the amendment is to implement the increases in the fee levels in the GMS Statement of Financial Entitlements effective from 1 April 2010. The fees are based on the uplifts set out in Ben Dyson’s letters to SHA Directors of Commissioning of 29 March (gateway 14090) and 8th June (gateway 14380). This document puts in place:

  • increases to certain SFE fees and allowances from 1st April 2010;
  • minor changes to the Childhood Immunisation Scheme from 24th June 2010, and

  • minor changes to the Osteoporosis Diagnosis and Prevention Scheme.

A consolidated text version of the SFE was published on the DH website on 1st February 2010.  The only amendments not included in this consolidation are:

  • The Statement of Financial Entitlements (Amendment) Directions 2010
  • The Statement of Financial Entitlements (Specification of National Minimum Percentage Uplift and Amendment (No.2)) Directions 2010.
