     Hydrogen added as a new fuel type on this rule set with corresponding criteria and ELVs including using a blend with natural gas. Gas oil substitutes permitted as a back-up fuel. Caps and Cowls and non-vertical stacks are now permitted. Clarity around use in an AQMA where there is a relevant air quality plan. Added MCERTS monitoring as an option. Updates to the interpretation section to improve understanding.

Details

These standard rules will allow the operator to operate one or more new or existing medium combustion plant (MCP) which:

• is a natural gas or hydrogen boiler producing heat only
• may be in an Air Quality Management Area unless the combustion plant is referenced in a relevant Air Quality Plan
