The following data sets of special adviser numbers and pay bands have been released.

They list the names of the special advisers in post as at 14 December 2017, including:

• each special adviser’s pay band
• actual salary where this is £65,000 or higher
• details of the special advisers’ pay ranges
• the total pay bill cost of special advisers for this period
