Details of the application
South Cumbria Rivers Trust Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number NW/073/0701/004 to abstract water from the Great Langdale Beck at National Grid Reference NY 32829 04679 for the purpose of transferring it without intervening use to the un-named drain which flows to the inner basin of Elterwater at NGR NY 32839 04370.
The variation applied for is: to amend the cessation condition on the licence.
