he Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (that does not involve substantial change) from Southern Water Services Limited.

The variation is for changes at the existing wastewater treatment works for the temporary enabling works for site improvements required to be completed by 15 May 2019. The changes include the temporary relocation of monitoring points (wastewater sampling and flow measurement); temporary chemical dosing with iron for odour control; and the permanent addition of a third storm sewage outfall.
