The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Swindon Metal Recycling Limited.
The proposed variation changes a standard rules permit into a bespoke permit.

Variation application to change from the existing Standard Rules Permit - SR2015 No 13: Metal Recycling Site (vehicle dismantler) - to a Bespoke Permit. This application will increase the annual tonnage of the site to 45,000 tonnes per annum, add household commercial and industrial waste transfer station activities and bring the current Waste Exemptions held at the site under the scope of the existing permit.
