We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following: 

In total, how much money has actually been paid by the Home Office / HM Government to Sir Edward Crew for his work as the reviews’ Policing Advisor, in respect of his services, fees & expenses and on what dates were any such payments made?

 

 

We released the following information on 09 November 2012.

In previous Freedom of Information responses, we have given this information as follows: Sir Edward Crew was paid £23,493.45 in total costs.  This is broken down into travel costs (£2,043.45), consultancy / advice costs at a daily rate of £300 (£16,350) and Consultancy/Implementation costs (£5,100).

Since this information was released, we have discovered an additional payment to Sir Edward Crew for travel costs of £298.24. This brings the total paid to £23,791.69. This is broken down into travel costs (£2,341.69), consultancy / advice costs at a daily rate of £300 (£16,350) and Consultancy / Implementation costs (£5,100). I can confirm that this represents all payments made by the Home Office to Sir Edward Crew.
