2.1 How many members of staff does the SIA currently employ?

272.

2.2 Prior to Covid-19, how many members of staff regularly and permanently worked remotely?

61 members of staff were contracted as remote workers prior to Covid-19.

2.3 Do SIA IT systems work outside the United Kingdom?

Our citizen-facing and other IT services are available on the Internet and therefore will work outside of the United Kingdom.

2.4 Are SIA members of staff able to work remotely from outside the United Kingdom?

SIA policy is to not allow remote working from outside the United Kingdom. SIA members of staff are only able to work remotely outside of the United Kingdom with a specific case-by-case dispensation having been agreed.

2.5 Is it a common practice for SIA members of staff to work from outside the United Kingdom?

SIA members of staff are only able to work remotely outside of the United Kingdom with a specific case-by-case dispensation having been agreed. It is not common practice for the SIA members of staff to work from outside the United Kingdom.

2.6 Since the beginning of Covid-19 in March 2020, how many members of staff have worked remotely outside the United Kingdom?
