SIA performance-related pay for the last 3 financial years

1. Request
This is a request for information related to non-consolidated performance-related payments. I request information on:
- The size of the non-consolidated performance pay pot within the SIA’s budget for 2023-24.
- Whether the full pot was exhausted in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23; the size of the pot in each of those years; if it was used in full, the portion of the pot that is used for individual performance-related payments versus flat non-consolidated payments to all relevant staff.
- The distribution of individual performance-related payments by staff grade.
2. Response
I can confirm that the SIA does hold this information. A response to each question is provided below.
2.1 Performance pay pot for 2023-2024
In line with Home Office pay remit guidance, the size of the non-consolidated performance pay pot for 2023-24 is calculated as 1.5% of the SIA payroll for the previous financial year. This can be found in the annual report and accounts Security Industry Authority Annual Report and Accounts 2022-23 (publishing.service.gov.uk). The intention is to fully exhaust the non-consolidated pay pot for 2023-2024.

Please be aware that each pot, per year was fully exhausted.
