This is a technical guide for employers to consider when implementing policies on shared parental leave and pay.
This technical guide for employers adds to the information in the main shared parental leave guide.
It covers some of the more technical aspects of the scheme. For example, what happens if the mother changes her mind about opting into shared parental leave. Most employers won’t encounter these sort of issues but will still need to consider them when developing and implementing their policies.
