Disposal of capital assets: information request form

Colleges that are selling or transferring assets that have been improved by capital funding from the Skills Funding Agency or predecessor bodies must complete this form.

Use of funds statements

Colleges and training organisations which have a College Capital Investment Fund (CCIF) approved capital project from the Skills Funding Agency must submit a use of funds statement to property.services@sfa.bis.gov.uk

Forms to be returned for SFA funded capital projects

This includes any supplementary information, e.g. for post occupancy evaluations this includes and expenditure template, elemental cost breakdown template and investment appraisal.

Form Project Due date
Use of funds statement College capital investment fund (CCIF) Final reconciliation - 31 October 2015.
Quarterly updates All projects On a quarterly basis for the duration of the project: February, May, August, November
Post occupancy evaluation All projects 12 to 18 months after project completion

The dates provided above are the deadlines included in the conditions of grant letters signed by colleges and training organisations.

Use of funds statements for final reconciliation of costs are required after project completion. Where a project is delayed, the college or training organisation can either notify the SFA by emailing propertyservices@sfa.bis.gov.uk and/or completing the quarterly update form (whichever is soonest) providing a new anticipated date for project completion.

Capital project quarterly update form

This form must be completed on a quarterly basis by colleges with approved capital projects that are still under way and are claiming Skills Funding Agency capital funds.

This is only a requirement for colleges with approved College Capital Investment Fund (CCIF) projects that are still in progress.

Please ensure any photographs inserted into the document are in total no more than 2MB in size. The form should be submitted in word format only.

Post occupancy evaluation documents

  • as a condition of receiving SFA capital funds, organisations must complete a post occupancy evaluation form between 12 to 18 months from occupation
  • please use the post occupancy evaluation guidance document to help you complete the form
  • along with the form, please also complete and submit the following documents:
    • elemental cost breakdown template (new build and/or refurbishment)
    • monthly expenditure profile template
    • capital investment appraisal template
    • a more detailed evaluation, if one has been carried out
