Enter learning data (ELD) is replacing the learner entry tool (LET). The web-based service is for further education providers who need to return ILR information but do not have a data management system.
You can access enter learning data for free. Using it is optional.
It’s been designed to offer an improved user experience, with benefits that include:
-
reduced duplication when entering learners’ data
-
real-time validation to improve data quality
-
guided user journeys
-
improved self-service, with links to guidance
-
access by multiple users from the same organisation
-
links to other Department for Education (DfE) services
-
storage of data in the DfE environment
If you’re having problems with the service, check the known-issues log to see if DfE is experiencing any issues and what it’s doing to solve them.
If your issue is not listed, contact us via the customer help portal.
