Services Grant Determination 2024 to 2025

Services Grant Determination 2024-25: No. 31/7254

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government (“the Minister”), in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003, makes the following determination:

Citation

1) This determination may be cited as the Services Grant Determination 2024-25 No. 31/7254.

Purpose of the grant

2) The purpose of the grant is to provide funding to all local authorities in England in recognition of the vital services they deliver. It will continue to be distributed through 2013-14 Settlement Funding Assessment shares.

Determination

3) The Minister determines the authorities to which grant is to be paid and the amount of grant to be paid as set out in Annex A of this determination.

4) Payment of the grant will be made in instalments throughout the 2024-25 financial year.

5) Before making this determination in relation to local authorities in England, the Minister of State obtained the consent of the Treasury[footnote 1].
