How many local authority (LA) agency responses were received to the consultation ending 30 June 2011 on the Green Paper ‘Support & Aspiration: A new approach to SEN and disability’ - i.e. not responses from individuals but from education departments within the LA as an organisation?
Release
The department can confirm that it received a total of 233 responses from local authorities to the Special Educational Needs Green Paper consultation. Of those, 123 were from different authorities, however, some authorities submitted responses from more than one service.
Unfortunately because of the way the responses were categorised the department is unable to confirm how many of these responses were specifically from education departments within the local authority.
