Research report on testing communications for prospective Self Assessment online customers. The research looked at a proposed leaflet and step by step guide to test:

  • the products met the needs of their target audience
  • they were written clearly, in a way that non-technical readers could readily understand
  • they were successful in encouraging paper filing customers to convert to online filing
