This annual research aimed to understand the effectiveness of the 2021 to 2022 Self Assessment advertising campaign, which targeted Self Assessment customers.

It evaluated awareness of the campaign and comprehension of key messages, to help understand if HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) advertising is effective, resonates well with the target audience and is as efficient as it can be.

The research was conducted with 1000 Self Assessment customers, 500 before the campaign, and 500 after it.
