Sedamyl UK Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number NE/027/0024/021/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from Sherwood Sandstone at National Grid Reference SE 63233 31522.

The variation applied for is to increase abstraction quantities to:

  • 68 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,617 cubic metres a day
  • 590,205 cubic metres a year

There are 6 other abstraction locations associated with this licence that will remain unchanged.
