This report (part A) provides an independent assessment by the Science Advisory Panel (SAP) of the extent to which the final recommendations of the Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) Regional Projects meet the requirements of the Ecological Network Guidance (ENG) for an ecologically coherent network.

An accompanying report (part B), in the form of a spreadsheet and commentary, provides an assessment of the evidence used to support the recommended MCZs and draft conservation objectives.
