Details

The school and college voice is a regular online survey. It gathers views from senior leaders and classroom teachers in state-funded primary, secondary and special schools, and in colleges.

The survey covers a wide range of topics related to the Department for Education’s (DfE) aims, priorities and policies. The topics include:

  • staff wellbeing
  • pupil behaviour
  • education recovery
  • staff absence
  • teacher training
  • pupil safeguarding
  • special educational needs and disability (SEND)

On 29 January 2026, minor corrections were made to the school and college voice reports for December 2023, January 2024 and February 2024. There are no changes to the published data tables. Contact DfE if you need details of the changes.
